The Presidential Election is exactly three days away taking place on November 5, 2024. This has been one of the most controversial and dividing elections in United States history. Both Vice President Kamala Harris and former President Donald Trump could not be more different from each other, leaving most Americans on one side or the other.
Many topics divide both of the candidates as they have vastly contrasting viewpoints and experiences. Some things that are the most disputed arguments between the two are immigration, if abortion should be legalized, the economy, as well as alternative energy. These issues have been a lot of the deciding factors for Americans as to whether they vote for Harris or Trump.
In one of Trump’s recent rallies in NYC, the comedian, Tony Hinchcliffe, made some comments leaving everyone speechless. He is going viral all over social media because of a “joke” he told at the rally. Hinchcliffe called Puerto Rico a “floating island of garbage.”
During an interview with ABC Trump claimed to not know who Hinchcliffe is but went on to say that “I’ve done more for Puerto Rico than any president.” It is important to remember that Puerto Rico is a US territory.
Bad Bunny, a Puerto Rican rapper and singer, then publicly endorsed Harris after the recent racist comment.
Meanwhile, according to CBS News, Harris continues to back up her standings that Medicare should be accessible to all and that it shouldn’t be costing nearly as much as it is now. She wishes to lower the prices of insulin and out-of-pocket spending on Medicare.
Many celebrities such as Beyonce, Ricky Martin, Julia Roberts, Chris Evans, and even Eminem have validated what Harris says and stands for. Them and so many others have endorsed her and her Vice President candidate Tim Walz.
Today was the last day in Massachusetts to do early voting. Already, over 1.4 million people have done so in the Bay State.
