Homecoming is quickly approaching which means spirit week is coming up soon! Get ready to dress up and have a week of fun participating in these spirit days.
Friday, October 18th, is Pink Out Day! Get dressed up in your favorite pink attire to support breast cancer awareness month. Wear your pink socks, pants, shirts, or shoes to participate in Pink Out Day!
Monday, October 21st, is Anything but a Backpack/Duo Day! Sick and tired of carrying around a backpack all day? On Monday, you don’t have to! You can use anything you want to carry your stuff around school. For example, a hamper, cooler, box, or even a microwave. On Monday you can also dress up with your friend as your favorite duo! You could even do a group costume and dress up all together! Some of the most popular costumes are Mario and Luigi, Mike Wazowski and Sulley, the Lorax and the Onceler, Alvin and Chipmunks/Chipettes, and Scooby-Doo and his friends.
Tuesday, October 22nd, is PSAT day, which means no spirit day. Tuesday is a half day that students will be spending testing due to the PSAT, so there will not be a spirit day since school ends at 10:30.
Wednesday, October 23rd, is Decades Day/Pajama Day! On Decades Day, students can dress up in outfits from different time periods. This allows them to explore all the different styles and really express themselves. On Wednesday, students can also choose to get all comfy and cozy and wear their pajamas to school for the day!
Thursday, October 24th, is Dressing Day! Each grade was assigned a different salad dressing to represent their outfits for the day. Seniors are Greek, which means they can dress up as Greek Gods and Goddesses. Juniors are Ranch, which means they get to dress like cowboys and cowgirls for the day. Sophomores are Thousand Island, which means they get to wear Hawaiian/tourist attire. Freshmen are Balsamic, which means they should wear brown clothes.
To wrap up spirit week, Friday, October 25th, is Class Colors Day! Each grade dresses up and wears their assigned colors! Freshmen should be wearing their best tan clothing. Sophomores should be all dressed in white. Juniors should have on their favorite red outfits. Finally, seniors should be decked out in black attire.
Friday, October 25th, is also the day of our Pep Rally! Get ready to cheer on your class in this year’s mini-games! These mini-games will include musical chairs, relay races, and tug of war!
Saturday, October 26th, is the day everyone has been waiting for, Homecoming! You can spend the day getting ready and taking pictures with your friends before homecoming. Homecoming is held at Milford High School and it will start at 6:30 pm. Have fun and make the best memories with your favorite people!
