- Pumpkin Picking – Pumpkin Picking, which may be a little less popular than other activities, is something fun to do with family and friends during the chilly season of Autumn. Picking the pumpkin isn’t even required to visit a pumpkin patch, which can be another activity in itself. Good places to go would be The Pumpkin Farm (Medway, MA 02053), Wokick’s Far (65 Milk Street, Blackstone 01504), and Hanson’s Farm (20 Nixon Road, Framingham, MA 01701)
- Pumpkin Carving – With your new pumpkins, take them back home and get to carving for Halloween!
- Apple Picking – Good places to go would be Honey Pot Hill Orchard (18 Boon Road, Stow MA), Carlson Orchard (115 Oak Hill Road, Harvard, MA), and Berlin Orchards (located off of 495 on Rte. 62, Berlin, MA)
- Corn Maze – Getting lost inside a Corn Maze with your friends and family in Autumn can be both creepy and fun and creates a challenge for you and the people you go with. Places to go would be Sauchuk Corn Maze & Pumpkin Patch (200 Center Street, Plympton MA 02367) and (23 S Main St, Sutherland, MA 01375)
- Hay-Rides – A good place to go would be Breezy Gardens (6 McNeil Hwy, Leicester, MA 01524)
- Build a Candy Stock – Halloween is known as the Candy season. Be sure to get candy before Halloween comes around so you don’t have to fight other people at the stores for the best stuff.
- Get a head-start on Holiday Shopping – Christmas shopping is pretty challenging–having to fight off other people to get the best gifts can be quite a hassle. Buying them beforehand can save you, your time, and your patience!
