MHS Class of 2021: Exciting News!

Sofia Wilson, Staff Writer

Class Auction:

The class of 2021 is hosting its silent auction on May 4, 2019 in the hopes of benefiting
the class as preparations for big future events take place (hint: prom!). It’s been an MHS tradition
for some time now for the sophomore class to hold a silent and live auction, and it has become
one of the biggest fundraisers a class can hold at the school. And this year’s theme, “Derby de
Mayo,” is nothing short of spectacular. With the excitement of the Kentucky Derby alongside
Cinco de Mayo, you’ll be sure to find yourself racing towards the auction table to see what there
is to be won. There’s something for everyone!
Of course, we understand if you cannot come celebrate with us at the Hoboken Club that
night. Life is bustling with things to do, and we truly appreciate anyone who can attend and
support the class at the auction. However, you can still help out regardless of if you can be there.
We are currently accepting donations of all kinds, including cash and checks toward helping the
class, and even auction items. Things such as those unused gift cards from last Christmas that
you keep on top of your refrigerator, for instance, would find a wonderful little home in a gift
card basket atop the auction table. Everyone is welcome and appreciated at the event, and we
hope to see you there!

5K Run:
